Cilantro Lime Rice: Fresh, Flavorful, and Foolproof

Ingredients
  • 1 cup Long-grain white rice
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 Tablespoon Butter ((Unsalted))
  • 2 Tablespoons Garlic ((chopped))
  • ½ Teaspoon Salt ((or to taste))
  • ½ cup Fresh cilantro (finely chopped)
  • 2 Tablespoon Fresh lime juice ((about 1 lime))
  • Water (As needed)
Instructions

    Rinse rice until water runs clear.

    Add water and salt. Bring to a boil, then cover and simmer on medium for 7 minutes.

    Let it cool down completely, then fluff with fork.

    Heat butter and olive oil in a saucepan, sauté chopped garlic for 2–3 minutes.

    Add cooked and cooled rice and stir gently to coat with the garlic flavor and oil-butter combination. Take off the heat

    Fold in cilantro and lime juice. Adjust seasoning if needed.
